Mat Pilates

Pilates is an overall body conditioning repertoire developed by Joseph Pilates that stretches, strengthens and aims for overall balance of the body.

Mat Pilates is perfect for all levels, the benefits of Pilates are increased muscular strength resulting in long, lean muscles, increased flexibility, agility and economy of motion, improved co-ordination and balance, corrected posture through strengthened core muscles, improved bone density and joint mobility, teaches awareness and graceful movement, injury alleviation and prevention, increased lung capacity and improved circulation.

Our Mat Pilates classes are a welcoming supportive environment that offer whether a mulit-level mat class or a Beginners course offer a fluid and balanced, full body workout to find space, strength and calm in the mind body and soul. Whatever your level you can expect your teacher to give the class plenty of options and modifications. Just as no body is the same, not everyone in class will need the same option. Your teacher will ensure the class is the right level for you.
